  from day one, i've felt like i was one foot out of this religion, but it took me until over a decade to reach the point where i am ready to move on.

  i was thinking about how the org is dying, and how the guboobs are trying to give it cpr by transitioning to tvpreach.

  now they will construct a media mecca and it looks like they will go full on e digital.

  so, i was trying to come up with a name for their new hollywood that would stick.

  they appear more whacko than ever.. but, were the jws ever anywhere near a bona fide religion at any time?.

  According to Webster dictionary a religion is service and worship of God or the supernatural . A personal set or institutionalized system of reglious beliefs, attitudes and practices. With that said I feel it is a bona fide religion even though it is outside the norms of many reglious institutions and a dangerous cult. Still Totally ADD

  Would You Ever Go Back To The Witnesses??

  every once in a while you hear people say they actually “miss” their old witness friends and or family.

  some would have even stayed in the organization if they became a bit more liberal and open minded.

  i appreciate all my friends who stop to read what i write and post.

  you help me more than you know simply by being there as a sense of 'family of friends' for me to talk to and 'share' thoughts with.i guess if i didn't have stories left to tell or people to listen, i could pack it in and join elon musk in a colony on mars.january 15, 2020. .

  which world is this?_________________when the doctor pulled my screaming body out of mom all those 7 decades ago, i landed in a post-wwii world.it was--compared to today's world--an alien planet.the world i live in today has nothing in common with the world in which i grew up.there were no cell phones back then--there were black telephones with a dial-tone and an operator who placed your call.everywhere you found telephone booths!

  PIMI relative complains about convention venue.

  i have just got of the phone with a relative complaining about the convention venue.

  as far as my relative is concerned wt can do no wrong, so for him to say what he did it must of been bad.

  the venue where the convention was held was described to me as a “tin shed with no air conditioning”.

  Maybe it's the lack of money. Back in my youth in the 60's we had many assembly in so called tin sheds with no air conditioners. What about the hell hole in the 1969 open air convention in Atlanta GA with temperatures running near 100 degrees with humidity to match.

  The wt. is just going back to the good old days. Lol. Still Totally ADD

  i'm a former member of dunnville, port colborne and welland congregations.

  i left at age 15/16 officially but stopped going/believing at age 12/13.. i'd love to meet someone who used to be a part of one of those congregations!.

  in the latest edition of jw boradcasting they were telling you of a huge new complex they will be building these next few years.it will be as big as warwick and only a few miles away,they will make a lot of the films and videos there and 100s of people will live there as well .

  then backed it up by saying that if one group march for some right, another group will march for the opposite.. so jws are intolerant and proud of it.

  The point I got out of that statement is if we tolerate disfellowship or apostate individuals it will cause divisions in the congregation. For me the borg is very, very worried about us. Still Totally ADD
